Event planner vs Day of coordinator?
An event planner is hands on and involved in the planning of your event.
Researching and sourcing vendors, curating the design of the event, reviewing contracts, and prioritizing your budget are some of the few things an event planner will do.
A coordinator is on-site for the event itself. They will act as a contact person for all parties involved, ensure the day is running according to the timeline, and is there to help with any unexpected issues.
Why do i need a day of coordinator?
There are so many moving parts to a wedding that even when the day is perfectly thought out, anything can go wrong. From a vendor being late, to a clogged toilet. anything can happen and an event coordinator is the one who will take care of business so the wedding couple doesn’t have to. They will make sure the timeline is flowing properly which maximizes the quality of your time, and they will act as a contact person between all parties so no one has to bug the bride.
